This is a really wonderful camp that my family has been going to for many years…my husband grew up going to camp at Calumet and it is near and dear to our hearts…we are grateful that Calumet has carved out a week for us to come and enjoy the White Mountains of New Hampshire together!
Last summer was the very first Homeschool Week at Calumet and it was a huge success, the prices are reasonable, the food (should you choose to partake) is delicious and plentiful, Lake Ossipee is beautiful and the camp staff are welcoming and helpful!
Some families chose to use the camp as home base to explore the White Mountains, others used the camp as a retreat, staying on camp and enjoying the many offerings…swimming, tennis, basketball, crafts, hiking, archery, kayaking, canoeing, campfires on the beach, game nights, beading with Bonnie, basket weaving, gimp ….
Some families came for the whole week, others came only for a few days….they’ve given us a daily rate so that you can customize your stay to fit your schedule.
Some families ‘roughed it’ in the campground, cooking their own meals, others enjoyed the luxury of eating in the dining hall. Whatever floats your boat!
